As a native of Fort Wayne, Dr. David Conner is proud to be a part of the
Parkview Sports Medicine team. He specializes in knee, hip and shoulder
arthroscopy, as well as procedures involving cartilage restoration. Dr.
Conner was added to the SportONE roster in 2012.
Dr. Conner graduated from Carroll High School and volunteered his time
for numerous organizations while pursuing his doctorate in medicine. He
has also helped develop housing for families with low incomes around the
Indianapolis area. With a passion for service and his community, Dr. Connor
knew he wanted to come home and serve the area where he grew up. Growing
up in Fort Wayne, he feels a sense of ownership treating local patients,
seeing them much more as neighbors than simply patients.
Currently Board Eligible, Dr. Conner holds an Advanced Trauma Life Support
- American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
- Arthroscopy Association of North America
- American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine
- The Fort Wayne Orthopaedic Society
- Indiana State Medical Association.
Dr. Connor is a faithful member of the community, supporting numerous athletic
teams at St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, as well as Trine University
in Angola. He also spends time supporting the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball
team and the Eldorado High School football team in Albuquerque, NM.
When not treating patients, Dr. Connor can be found water skiing, road
cycling, mountain biking, or on a long run. He loves spending his free
time outdoors. He has also given his time as a missionary in Haiti and
leader for a Vacation Bible School small group. Dr. Connor feels privileged
to use his time and talents to help others, whether they are his patients
or people across the nation.
